Isao Yamada presents selected still photos from his latest 8mm film, a work in progress.
His new graphic works are accompanied by the words of French poet,
Arthur Rimbaud,
who transcended the material world which he regarded as a mere story.
The pictures for this exhibition have been selected from the new book, Les Illuminations Cinémathèques,
edited by Japanese photographer, Endo Akira.
The cinema+photo-graphic visions resonate with Rimbaud's literary expressions,
evolving into an intimate communication between imagery and poetry.

山田勇男が現在制作中の長編8ミリフィルム映画『イリュミナション』。
撮影に参加した遠藤彰が編集した映画のような写真集*
「Les Illuminations Cinémathèque」より選んだフェヴァリットな写真に、
「物語としてのこの世に別れを告げた」アルチュール・ランボオの詩句を散りばめた、
飾画（ポスター・ポストカード）36点を展示します。
*展示期間中限定先行販売。
日本では展覧会（前橋にて2018年1~2月：詳細は年末までに公開）と映画公開時に販売開始予定です！
